Red BetaRoot
What is red betaroot?
- A red color of plant origin that is used as a natural coloring agent in many food products.
- It is classified as (E162)
- It has an intense red color and is therefore used as a shading agent in food products safely, especially since it does not leave any traces after cooking.
- It is widely used in meat processing plants:
(Sikh kofta – sausage – hawawshi – burger… etc.) - When adding betaroot red, the product to which the shading agent is added appears bright red.
- Upon completion of the leveling process, the product appears with a natural appearance externally and internally, completely leaving no trace of the shading agent.
- This is because the compound (E162) is a natural extract that is easy to absorb and contains many vitamins and minerals such as magnesium.
